Question about Sony KP-53HS10 TV
TV has no picture or sound. The red standby light contiues to
flash 6 times in sequence.
Six flashes corresponds to "Horizontal deflection stop". In turn the
"supposed malfunction" is then either Q5013 (H OUT) is broken and/or
IC507 (H Jungle) is broken.
however i would check
Video out, IC7101, 7201, 7301 and others in C board circuit.
Q510, 516, 524 (A board).
There are actually three C boards, the CR, CG and CB boards. They are attached to the rear of the red, green and blue CRTs, respectively. I wouldnt attempt to repair the set myself. I would solicite the services of an authorized Sony servicenter.
