Re: How do i download music
You can download Ares or Limewire there is some other programs out ther but these are the ones I had experience with.
-Plug in your mp3 player -Go into 'Limewire/Ares', select a song and go 'Locate file/Open Containg Folder', you should be in your folder with all your songs. or go 'My Music' and find your music files. -Either select all your songs, open them with 'Windows Media Player' or the program provided and transfer them that way.
-Or 'Open My Computer' then open 'Whistler Mp3805' [something along those lines" and drag the songs from where your songs are located [My Music] to the 'Music' folder in your Whistler 3805 folder. [MyMusic] Song.mp3 >drag to> [MyComputer/Whistler Mp3805] Music.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Generally, MP3 is the most common music file format and can be recognized by all MP3 players, so you'd better download music as .mp3 file extension. I know an excellent tool used to search for and download music to Mac. It is a program running on Mac OS X 10.7 and the later. And it is really the best way to get music downloaded. Download it from the below link. http://anymp3downloader.com/
Usually copying over music manually works for mp3 players such as this one but you can use a program to do that. iTunes, Songbird, Windows Media Player and a plethora of other free music management programs work. Find one that you prefer using and use it to sync the music on your computer to your mp3 player.
Make sure you are using Windows Media Player to Sych the music onto the device. It's the best way to make sure it will work. This MP3 player is only compatible with the song format .wma
You can try to download a converter if you don't have Windows Media Player.
Every mp3 player is different - we would need to know your manufacturer and model # to be sure. A good place to start is the user manual - if one did not come with your player, you can go to the manufacturer's website to get it. Generally, you need a music service or CD to grab songs from, a transfer program (different for every player), and your mp3 player. That is the best help I can give you without knowing exactly which player you have.
If you have Windows XP or later, your computer should have gotten the driver automatically. If your computer recognizes the device and you are able to transfer music to it, then the driver is working fine. However, recording music requires additional software. A popular, free recording program is Audacity. You can record music with this program, save it to an mp3 and transfer it to your mp3 player. I hope this is what you are looking for!
My husband says some times the simple solution is the best. Try this, it worked for me.
1) download your music to your computer in mp3 format (when your program asks 'SAVE AS' you pick MP3 forrmat.
2) import the music to the MP3 program from the program you downloaded to
3) import to your player.
hi it's ok if you don't know. Fixya technicians will try their best to make sure that you get the best solution to solve your problems. First of all you need to let your computer recognize your mp3. Then you will have to download the music from itunes or lime wire these programs has to be downloaded from www.itunes.com www.limewire.com then one of these programs will let you transfer the music to the mp3. Hope this helped you.
I use Rhapsody with Vista. You need to go to Rhapsody's website (or Best Buy Digital Music Store, which runs the same software) and download the updated version, which will work just fine.
Purchased music from iTunes can be put on Sansa players as well when you set-up Rhapsody to manage your music. Have the program detect your music library and then all you have to do is drag and drop to your MP3 player.
