Sounds like a problem with the door lock, door switch or the door switch actuator. Door lock is usually a single assembly with the switch. Check the pin on the door first. Model # is probably mistyped, won't come up, so can't tell anything specific.

Whirlpool Cabrio washer model WTW6200SW, when the wash cycle is started, starts filling with water, after roughly one minute the machine stops than goes into spin cycle, will spin for a short time than...

Possible there are errors in the program memory. Power off the washer for half an hour, press and hold down the start button , then switch on. Try also with another program. Also check if the inlet filter is clogged and the water flow is good, if not clean. Also check the water level pressure sensor.

Whirlpool cabrio wtw5600xw0 will not spin

There is a spin sensor that is part of the shifter if this is wet it wont sense the spinning, hence wont spin, and if it is wet you mat need to replace the tub seal http://www.appliancepartspros.com/gearcase-motor-pump-parts-for-whirlpool-wtw5600xw0.html

WashMachine wont wash and wont stop filling

There is a rubber tube that goes from the outside of the outer plastic bowl up to the pressure switch in the top panel. It is on the left rear corner. It may have been pulled off the pressure switch. Look under on that corner and locate where it is attached to the plastic bowl. if that is OK then follow the tube up and check top connection.
Hope this will help you.

Doesn't fill with water - goes straight to agitation.

open the console and find the pressure switch. it has a clear hose attached to it. pull the hose off the switch and turn on the washer. if water starts to enter shut it off and blow through it back to the tub. some piece of junk may have plugged it causing the switch to "think" the tub is full of water. put the hos back on and run a short spin cycle to reset it and try again making sure to run a small load to see if it shuts off properly. if no water enters when hose is pulled off most likely bad pressure switch. keep the lid closed while doing these tests. some units wont work w/lid open.

Washing machine starts by itself

going through to the next wash not na normal function, perhaps the machine is advancing to an extra rinse cycle?? this EXTRA RINSE will start after the normal wash is complete, i would check your dial settings perhaps some one has mistaknely switched extra rinse "ON". if htis os not tyhe case the n i would jave to blame a faulty timer mechanism and you would need to replace the timer
