Had since my memory card said he was full, but in fact had just format on the computer, then tried a bit and find the solution like this: put the memory card, press the menu button shows where the photos stored , Delete> Format, then everything returned to normal.

I had the same problem today with a 2 GB card. I think it may be the size of the card. When I put in an old 32 MB card it worked fine.

My camera gets easily full though i've just taken only one or two pictures. What should i do? Please help me solve this problem. I badly need my camera now as I am documenting for my thesis. Thanks much.

Sounds like you may not have a SD memory card in your camera (or have been using a 4GB SDHC card), and your images are being saved to the camera's very limited "built-in" memory. What size SD memory card are you using. If there is none (or if you're using a 4GB SDHC), recommend purchasing a standard SD card no larger than 2GB files size for your model camera (think of it as the camera's reusable film).
Note that 4GB and higher SDHC cards will not work with your camera as it was manufactured before SDHC format came out (this also could be causing the camera to default to built-in memory). Again, the maximum SD card size that your camera can use is 2GB. These can still be purchased, and are relatively inexpensive on Amazon.

I have just recieved my camara today. when i turn the camara on it says ''storage error'' and when i try to take a picture it says '' card fuul'' ???? i have re formated the memory card, changed the...

Change the primary storage to save the pictures to memory card and not the camera's internal memory. If you can't find the place to change the settings, let me know the brand and model of your camera and I will see if I can give you detailed instruction how to change storage location. You can also refer to the user manual. Good luck.

Display reads "images recorded in internal memory" but there are none and I can't take more than 4 pictures until the camera says the memory is full. Also the memory card says it is full after 7 pictures,...

hi, the memory card you are using is to small for the camera it has not got enough memory on it you need to get at least a 1gb memory card or 2gb memory this will then allow you to take between 500 and 1000 pictures the 16mb card you have in is not worth using it will only hold a couple of pictures so go to the well known auction site and buy a 2gb memory card of the same type such as sd card or micro sd or mini sd it should tell you on the 16mb card what type it is then just buy the same type but with either 1gb or 2gb or even 4gb of memory this will then let you take 1000s of pictures

the 16mb card is no good in your camera get a bigger card and your problem will be solved

let me know if you have any problems with the new card ok

I have a memory card that hold 700 or so pictures,

It could be, that what you are seeing, is the INTERNAL memory is being taken up with your pictures. Connect your camera to your computer with a USB cable and you will probably find them.

Canon SD1200 IS won't save pictures to the memory card.

This Canon uses an SD memory card (previous Canon used CF cards).
The SD memory card has a "slide switch" that locks the card.
Look at the SD memory card and move the switch back and forth, then switch it all the way to the UNLOCK position. Put back in the camera and format the card, then use it.

Since this is a 10Megapixel camera, use at least a 2GB SD memory card. A 2GB SD card will hold 700 pictures, or so, in the best setting.

Hope this helps!

Casio exilim 8.1 card is locked

Can you check if there is a small push button on the memory card itself? It could that it is currently on write-protect mode.

Some of the pics are mixed up with the other ones

The problem sounds like it is due to a problem with the memory card. Try a new card, if the problem persists, the camera has a problem.

Changing memory settings

the camera allows for 8 pics to be taken using its internal memory (IN). If you want to be able to get more images than that you can purchase an xD picture card that gets inserted to the camera that will allow for more images to be taken and stored. The camera more than likely supports 1gb or 2gb capacities of xD cards.

Memory Card

make sure that the memory card you bought is a secure digital (SD) memory card. the kodak memory you have might not be an SD card.

New memory card will not work

this camera is actually really compatible with the 2gb sd card, anything higher will give you that message. since you have the right kind but still won't work - 2 possibilities:

camera memory ready issue > repair necessary
defective card> try another one
