Gps singal lost

Often, when your GPS is in a "covered" area ... e.g. inside a building, in a tunnel, under a bridge, amongst / under tall buildings, etc... when there is no open space (directly) between your GPS and the satellites, your GPS will loose its satellite signals. If you're in such locations, try to find some "open space" and wait a bit for the signals to be picked up again.
Another common reason why the GPS doesn't get signals, or doesn't get the signals quickly, is because the "latest" satellite positions (locations) have not been updated in your GPS. If/when you connect your GPS to your computer (e.g. using HOME ) and download the GPS satellite (QuickFix) location information, your GPS will have the most recent locations of the satellites in your vicinity/region. With this information, your GPS can pick up the signals more quickly ... instead of having to search/scan around to find the signals ... which can take a bit more time. While your GPS is searching for the satellite signals, it shows the "signal lost" or "no GPS signal" message.

I've had the tom tomxl 330s for over two years, it has never had a satellite signal, i've attempted several times to restert, the gps is updated, my configuration is in degrees, which seemed to activate 2...

its good you have 2 satellites but you need to see more for it to work.
the tt can take quite a long time to lock on.
make sure you have completely free view of sky and away from any buildings.
Give it a few minutes to lock on.
also make sure you have latest firmware updates from TT as they also do a regular position update of satellites.

I need to use an external antenna

You can find sever antenna's at various locations. They glue right to your window in the front or rear of the vehicle and amplify the signal. Bestbuy, Walmart, RadioShack, and other stores such as these carry a wide variety of these.

Turn Signals quit working

Sounds like the turn signal flasher is going bad. The easy way to find wher the flasher is hidden is turn the turn signal on and find the clicking, that is the flasher. The emergency flashers work fine because they use a different flasher.

I have a tt 920. I can't get a gps signal either no matter where

Sorry to hear that. I have this TT also & I live in Michigan. It shouldn't be doing that. Have you connected to PC and installed all updates? Have you done a soft reset?
If you have done those things & still have this problem I suggest you call the company. When I bought mine I had problems so I called TT, they sent me a replacement immediatly. Actually they sent me 5 different ones until I got a good one. I'll give you the #'s that I use to talk to them. Good luck.
If this helps plz rate this as 'fixa'. Thank you kindly.

Won't find a GPS signal

Try a factory reset on it. Or if you have been doing backups of the files on there reinstall those and see if it works again.

No GPS signal?

I had this problem (waiting for a valid GPS signal). I did a factory reset and the unit started working again (yes, I lost all my settings, but what good is a GPS unit that just sits there waiting for a valid GPS signal?). To do a factory reset, go to menu -> change preferences -> Reset factory settings.
