Naxa nx-575 8" TFT LCD color TV set

We're unable to program the local VHF channels. There is nothing in the manual about solving this problem. Any solutions?

You may have SAP turned on by default which will draw in the spanish audio channels of your common off air content. Or the preset might be set to all of the spanish channels. From what I have heard the programming of this device is hard and not user friendly. I would suggest calling the company and getting the service manual. I hope this helps, Thank you,

Yes, you can. I was able to get my Dish Network remote to work with my Naxa 574 TV. Just follow the directions for the remote and you should be able to use it.

Screen is incredibly dark, as if it was burned; cannot adjust color, tint, brightness, etc. When we bought the tv, it had a beautiful color, but now...

The LCD back light has blown, to buy a replacement you will have to visit the naxa site and see if they do spare parts, or can give you a contact number for repairs. Because it is a small lcd changing the back light might be tricky, it might be worth taking it to a repair store to see how much it would cost for the repair.
I hope this helps a bit, sorry i cant give any more info on how to get a replacment part.

I am looking fore the uverse remote code for naxa

i install uverse, the auto seek is done by hit and hold TV and OK. wait for lights to flash enter 900 and push play over and over SLOWLY and when the tv turns off, press enter.

NOTE: some tvs WILL NOT program to our remotes

The Televion will not turn on

This sounds like a possible power supply issue. I would suggest that you get a schematic, open up the set and look at the power supply section using a multimeter to measure the voltages.from the begining of the power supply plug, to the end of the power supply voltage regulator.
