How do you do this with this TV?
Thanks,

there's only one audio in and one video in plug in the front of the TV and a cable input in the back. the TV was made in 1999 so I'm wondering if it's too old for a DVD input. However, we can plug a Nintendo64 in to play video games, which works fine. I look forward to further assistance. Thanks!

There should be 3 plugs at the back that will take a 3plug av cable.
Buy one of these cables,[red, yellow, white], plug them into the correct inputs on your tv and dvd and it should work.
You can also use an S-video cable which will give you better picture.
Or a Hdmi cable but you must have the correct plugs, these are ussualy only present on newer tv's and dvd players
before buying the last 2, make sure both your dvd and tv have these corresponding plugs.
If its an old Tv you either need an Antenna-AvCable
or a simple Antenna plug that will twist onto both the antenna plug on your tv and dvd player.
Hope this helped.

Ok, so it's and older one
You can still buy a normal Av Cable, plug it into white and yellow in the front and to white and yellow at the back of your dvd player.[you don't necessarily need the red]
You can also buy an antenna plug, the same one going to your N64
But you need one with 2 Antenna ends, plug it into the back of your tv [maybe get a splitter so you can add both the n64 and dvd player] and into the back of your dvd, if it has an antenna plug.
Hope that fixed it.
