Question about Canon PIXMA iP3000 InkJet Photo Printer

1 Answer

Shades of gray printing as brown

When I am printing shades of black/gray, the result starts black and ends white, but goes through shades of brown. As a result, printing in normal colors tends to be a bit on the pale side.

The black cartridge is new and appears to be working properly.

Any ideas?

Same problem with a Canon iP3000 printer. I've cleaned it several time, have taken the ink out to shake, but no change.

Grey prints as brown Especially noticeable in nozzle check. Bracket blocks in first line (3eBK) is fine. Others should be grey, but are shades of brown & tan. Printing photo in greyscale yields great greys. Color photos are poor. Other symptoms: too much magenta and too little cyan. Brand new print head. Same problems.

Suggest me the best place to buy some modern White colored T-Shirts?

A white Tshirt goes really cool with coffee brown jeans or Dark black jeans. So I think this is one combination that makes me looks smart!. To find out the very new styles of T-Shirts in the White shade I often check the Bitcoin Tee Shirts collections online. They provide many varieties of dresses of various sizes and shades. I find their store very convincing as well. For the T-shirt section, they provide many different styles and shades of white. I think this is one of the best places to buy White shaded T-shirts and also Comparatively they have a huge collection as well.

Canon Pixma 3600 I want black & white printing only for documents Question: How do i turn off the colour cartridges for black & white printing only?

The Grayscale print option optimizes the look of color slides for printing on a black and white printer by adding shading. The Pure Black and White option prints your slides in monochrome.

  1. Open the presentation you want to print.
  2. Click on the word File in the Menu Bar.
  3. Select the option Print.
  4. The Print dialog will appear.
sayurisan20_3.jpg 5.In the Color/Grayscale section, choose the Grayscale option to print in black, white, and shades of gray. 6.Choose the Pure Black and White option to print in black and white only. 7.Click on the OK button.

The printer prints color only.

There is an option to make your prints come out in black and white if you go into the "properties" of the printer. Look for an option that says "grayscale". This will allow your prints to come out in shades of gray (black and white).

Hope this helps. :)

More than likely what you want is a gray scale image and not a true Black and White image. If you tell the printer to print Black and White for a photo, you will lose all the gray shades available between the black and white bookends.

Normally, you can set the printer to print grayscale only from the driver properties page.

Hp 4050 does not print gray

Please try to edit the setting of your printer particularly the printing level of your printer such as the ink it consumes and the color of the ink you are going to used. So if you want to have a good quality result then please select the best quality printing it can give of your printer by editing the printer setting.

When I want to print using the photo or black ink cartridges, my printer uses the tricolour cartridge. If I take the tri colour cartridge out, the printer alerts that there is a cartridge missing and still...

If what you are trying to print is a black in white image then you cant print that when you dont have the other colors installed. The reason is because your image/photo has shades of gray, and for the printer to produce gray, it needs the other colors as well. It needs colors to get the light black or gray shades of the photo....

If however, you are trying to print text only, the printer should be using the black cartridge and not the other colors... I believe that there should be an option in the printers preferences to select black ink only... look for it under advance tab...

hope this helps

Photoshop, separating gray shades

I'd select the different levels of gray, and cut the color out of the picture, then paste it into a new document, using the exact same document and canvas sizes each time, so that you end up with three or four new documents, each with a different level of grey. If you're familiar enough with PS, you can do so by adding four new layers, and simply copy and paste the colors to four separate layers, and just hide all layers except the one you're printing currently. PS will ignore all layers that are invisible when printing. Click the 'eye' icon on each layer so that all of them are hidden except the one you want to print.

Hope this will FixYa!!!
