I HAD TO REINSTALL WINDOWS IN MY COMPUTER, I HAVE A HP PHOTOSMART C3150 PRINTER. WELL I SEEM TO HAVE LOST THE CD TO INSTALL IT ON MY COMPUTER. ANY SUGGESTIONS

Check on a different wall outlet. u could also take it to the store and ask them to check with a different power cable .. this will help us isolate the issue
HP printers normally comes along with Software installation CD and drivers. If you haven't installed the software yet please do so. Once installed you can utilize the application to scan documents.

Go to HP.com, click on Drivers Download, enter Deskjet F830 in the model box and click search. You will then be asked to pick your Operating System, most likely Windows XP or Vista. You will then be shown all the available downloads for that printer. Download and install the driver and the printer should work.
Your only solution for this awful printer/copier is to fully uninstall the software and then reinstall. There is no quick fix for this turkey of a printer. Good luck.
this link should get you to the C3150 page, you will need to select your operating system since you did not advise above. the it will tak you to the drivers page, save the download to your computer and install it.
