PSU is good, RAM is good. I disconnect all accessories except hd, still no response at all. PSU fan doesn't even come on. A small green light lights up on the motherboard but nothing happens.

System has a Lexmark all in one attached via USB. Required a reset of Lexmark which is done by unpluging the PS and reinsertion after completion of this step the CPU video had shut down. Not restartable. Removed the battery and left out for 45 minutes and still would not restart. In the paperwork we have on the board it notes some type of USB shutdown capability but nothing about how to reset the board.

We have another board and used it to prove the PS and switches on the box are functional, but it is our last one and somehow we think it is just a matter of resetting the motherboard????

-->if that problem is getting after installation of   operating system , then  u should reinstall os.

-->if that problem is getting  in regular , then first    replug the connectors on the mother board from power supply.     and also  check sockets of supply.,,,, observe clearly   ...

-->remove and  clean the ram  and install  ,,, check
--> and one more  chance is there ,,,,that try to keep any operating system cd in drive  then restart the pc   ,,, if  system is not shutting  down       that indicates   OS is problem(viruse crashes the OS or  OS system components..
--> otherwise   finally  remove  the total  motherboard  from ATX cabine   and  reinstall ..   check it

if all the above   solutions are not  working   then  we cant do any thing    and also  should  return to company of manufacturer.

Dear sir i have a pc with intel desktop board D865GVHZ.the problem is that when i start the pc its cpu fan is spinning also a green light is glowing bt there is nothing on monitor, this problem also occured...

Most likely the power supply or the motherboard itself is failing, I would start by replacing the power supply. Easy to do and fairly cheap.

Buy http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory.aspx?SubCategory=58&name=Power-Supplies or Buy one in a retail store like Best Buy

Dear Sir, my mother board d101 has been damaged can i use of p4sd m/b insted of that while i want all rest parts remain using i dont want change ram,SMPS, Proccesser etc.

fbhushan, the Intel D101GGC motherboard (Grand Country) supports;

1) Intel Pentium 4, Intel Celeron D, and Intel Pentium D processors that fit in an
> LGA 775 processor socket.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGA_775

The Processor has the socket holes, and the processor socket (LGA 775) has the pins.
775 socket holes, and 775 pins.

The Front Side Bus (FSB) can be either 533MegaHertz, or 800MHz.

2) Supports DDR Sdram ram memory at either 333MegaHertz or 400MHz.
(PC2700 and PC3200, respectively)

Will support Up To 2GB of ram memory.
Has two ram memory slots. The maximum amount for EACH slot is 1GB

3) The SMPS used for it has,
A) One 24-pin ATX main power cable

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#atxmain24

B) One 4-pin ATX +12 Volt power cable,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#atx12v4

The Intel D101GGC motherboard has Four SATA headers (Connectors) on it, so I'm going to assume you are using a SATA harddrive.
This would mean the SMPS you are using should have at least one SATA power cable.

It should also have an assortment of 4-pin standard Peripheral power cables.
(Misnomered as 'Molex')

The Asus P4SD (Motherboard chipset Intel 865PE) supports;

1) Intel Pentium 4 and Intel Celeron processors that fit in a > Socket 478 processor socket

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_478

The Processor has the pins, and the processor socket has the socket holes.
478 pins, and 478 socket holes.

Your Processor will NOT work.

The Ram Memory WILL work.

The SMPS MAY work.

I state MAY because the Asus P4SD motherboard uses a 20-pin ATX main power cable.

If the last four pins of the 24-pin ATX main power cable that you have on your SMPS right now, Do Not remove, you can Carefully cut them off. Wrap them up, and out of the way.
If you need guidance on this I can help instruct you.

You need an IDE (PATA) harddrive, or a SATA adapter card to use a SATA harddrive.

So there you have it sir.

joecoolvette

I have a problem with Intel D845GVSR Motherboard with 2.0 GHz processor. When I power the M/B, only the Motherboard LED is on, but no boot, no cpu fan running. No beep code also. I check the SMPS, RAM,...

Hi,

Think this should be an issue with the power button, Remove the wires running from the power button to MB and try starting the system with shorting the 2 lead of the power button..

Mostly, it can be due to bad power supply or Ram

Power problem in intel d865gvhz

Pull cmos cell from motherbord for 10 minutes.
So all motherbord settings defaults.
Then reconnect ATX power supply connector from smps to motherbord.
If still face same issue then you need to change or repair your SMPS.it is in back top side of cpu cabinet.
Try with other smps if still same issue then your motherbord has some issue.
You can trouble shoot this issue with above step follow 1 by 1 .
Let me know if you need more assistanse.
Thanks.

D865GVHZ mother board Doesnt boots

Hi,
If everything was working fine before, and you flashed bios unsuccessfully, then yes, if would be a bios problem.

If you didn't flash the bios you should check the connections on your monitor. If that's okay then check your memory, hard drive and cpu.

Good luck,
Hank
