Try to re-plug the printer to another USB port on your computer, it should automtically detect the printer as a new hardware. If it didn't, try these steps:
Run Add Printer Wizard of Windows (from Control Panel> Printers and Faxes).
Choose Local Printer (it's okay if it didn't find Plug n' Play printer).
Select USB Virtual printer port (assuming that your printer is connected through USB to your computer).
When it ask to choose the manufacturer and model, just select the closest match to your printer.
If the model couldn't be found (or not even a close match to Canon i70), you will need to download driver from Canon website.
