Re: have not used them for a while

These systems have some signal detection, so needs an input to fire it all up. That is the same for the greenlight, when initially switched on for my HDR 120.

what kind of head phones usually has to deal with the features like noise canceling and base and even temp effects (leaving it charge in a cold car) battery assuming its lithium based the can be fully charged 1000 times or so before they decline so if you use them everyday for 3-4 years but most last 5-6 years of normal use.

Hi. I just purchased the insignia digital wireless headphones for my boyfriend and the headphones won't charge properly. It says to put the on the dock station and the red light will stay on(up to 4 hours)...

If the red light is on for such a short period of time, it probably means that the headphones are charged. The red light will flash for a long time and then turn green only when you charge on the dock headphones that need charging. I suggest to try to use them without charging them and see if the headphones work.

I have a huge problem with these headphones (the Sennheiser HDR 120)... and my wife bought two of them... They have great sound on the computer, but once the green light turns off on the base? There...

The volume of the sound source (Mac) must be sufficient, otherwise the transmitter automatically turns off. Turn up the volume on the Mac, and turn down the volume on the headphones. There is no way to disable the Automatic On/Off function of the transmitter.

The operating instructions say that after 16 hours the red power/charge indicator light would go out, indicating the batteries are fully charged. After 3 days the red light on my unit is still on. The...

I have the MDR-RF970R but I bet the battery is the same. If you have had the headphone for seceral years then I bet you are right, the battery is going. You might try using them till the battery dies and then recharge. This is called deep cycle and may time it will extend the life of rechargables.

If the headphones are new, then just check and make sure that they going all the way into the charge slot.

I will say it is not common for me to see the light off, but I use the headphones all the time.

Good luck.

Motorola S9 headset plays music in one ear

I had the same problem with a Samsung phone. There are two ways of fixing this; First, you can remove the S9 profile from your phone's bluetooth list, and then add it again, going through pairing and entering 0000 on your phone when asked for the code.
Alternatively, you might try pressing the "play" button on the right earpiece on the Motorola S9. This is supposed to kick it into the A2DP stereo mode for music listening.
Good luck.
And get a copy of the manual from the Motorola web site at I found this very handy for checking what the little flashing lights mean. When you get stereo reception, the little LED in the middle of the headset flashes green, not the usual blue and red and purple for voice calls.
In case you didn't know, as a phone headset, with the microphone activated, you only get sound in your left ear, and the light flashes blue. For music, you get both ears, and it flashes green. So if it ain't green, you are in mono mode.

There in no green light on RS 120. There is a red light on indicating that the headphone is being charged. Why I cannot use non-chargeable AAA batteries?

The green light only comes on when it is receiving an audio signal.

Standard batteries will work.. if you NEVER use the charging station.. and plan on replacing them every x number of hours used.. IMPORTANT.. if you forget.. and place the headset on the charging station with standard batteries.. they will probably rupture.. and may well ruin the headset..

If you decide to replace the chargable batteries.. make sure you replace them with the right size and type..

Sound diminishes....

Did you initially charge the batteries per the instructions? You must FULLY charge them for 16 hours, then let them TOTALLY discharge (without putting them back on the charger) and TOTALLY charge 3 more times. If you do not, you will lose life in the batteries.

Good luck
