Question about Memorex MVD2040 DVD Player
The solution to the PSCAN! (half screen cut image) is just as suggested, turn off the progressive scan switch in the back of the DVD player to get the full image and enjoy your movie.

In the manual it states that this results from having the progressive scan switch on and your TV (or its cabling) does not support progressive scan.
