i recommend you a battery test, often these problem occur and it is due to a faulty battery, borrow a friend's battery and see if the problem persist, if not I recommend you replace your battery, if your friend's battery still doesn't work you might need to run an update on the phone which should solve the problem
I had this problem a few times, but only when I let the battery drop so low that the connection turned itself off to save what little life the battery had. Once that happens I just had to wait for the battery to charge back up so the connection could reestablish itself. If this is the case, just plug it in and give it time.
There might be some issue with the BlackBerry Device Software associated with the BlackBerry smartphone so Upgrade the BlackBerry smartphone with a newer version of BlackBerry Device Software and make sure that you have taken a backup before upgrading.
Try removing your Facebook app from the phone. Had the same issue and I stopped receiving emails. Once I removed the Facebook app from the phone - it rebooted and all my emails showed up.
Mine was doing the same thing. I called ATT and was told to remove and reinstall the battery and the sim card making sure the sim was in tightly. once i done this it hasn't happened again
