Re: P6SET-ML question

You're just lucky I happened to be doing some surfing today, AND the I happened to have one of these in my "spares" pile. :-)

From the top down:

grn -> wht = power switch
x -- x
blu -> wht = reset switch
red -> wht = HD led
x -- x
x -- x
x -- x
x -- blk = speaker
wht -- ^ = (speaker)
^ -- ^ = (speaker)
grn -- red = speaker
= power LED

And for the official word...

Here's a site I found:

Here's the manual you want:

The pin assignments are on page 20 of "Chap2.pdf".

Happy new year, and all that stuff!

I have an MS-7502VER:1.2 motherboard and i cannot find wher to plug the power switch into

Hi scouts692

The Front Panel Header Pin arrangement for this motherboard is unusual, in that the header only appears to have 8 pins in a single column rather 2 parallel columns of 6 Pins with 1 blank, as most conventional motherboards do.

Pin 1 is POWER SWITCH orange or red (PWR SW 1)
Pin 2 is POWER SWITCH white or black (PWR SW 2)
Pin 3 is POWER LAD + (PWR LED -)
Pin 4 is POWER LED - (PWR LED +)
Pin 5 is HARD DRIVE LED - (HD LED -)
Pin 6 is HARD DRIVE LED + (HD LED +)
Pin 7 is RESET SWITCH blue or green (RST SW/RST 1)
Pin 8 is RESET SWITCH white or black (RST SW/RST 2)

Please refer to a PDF of the Motherboard Manual for additional information about the setup of this motherboard (the relevant page for the Front Panel Header is page 17/Section 2-13)

hope this helps.

Won't power up!

That would be best, and also, check to make sure that the video card you bought is compatible with the motherboard you are installing it on. Then check to make sure all of the power cords are securely plugged in into their right areas and then try it.

I donĀ“t have the foxconn motherboard manual "661m08"

Most mobo's have the connection points printed on them. Use a strong flashlight and look for some pins that have the following words printed near them (PW or PWR, RS or RST, HDD LED, etc) They should all be grouped together in the same corner of the mobo. Have you tried googling the motherboad name to find a manual? I have done that on a few occasions and got lucky.

KM18G pro motherboard power connection, reset sw, power sw, etc.

You can download the manual for your motherboard here.

Inside you will find information of where does each connector go. Each connector on the case has a marking on it (HDD, PWR, RST or similar) which stands for hard disk LED, power button, reset button and so on. Connect it to the right place, and problem is solved.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to ask.

Gigabyte GA-8INXP Motherboard Problem- front connector pins

If the wires from the reset switch is white/blue the blue wire is positive, Hdd red/white red is positive power Green/white Green is positive etc. The wires on the speaker connector will be red/black/black/white - red is positive. The colored wire is always positive. On all GA mb's the positive connection is always towards the back of the MB and are marked with a + on the base of the pin as you can see on the photo. Hope this help.
