Re: My steam cleaner want suck the water up

This happens when the filter on the inside of the lid for the dirty water tank is pushed all of the way up. You need to leave a 1/4 in. gap from the top to the top of the filter. Also make sure that the lid is on correctly and not loose one end.

I wouldn\'t attempt that unless it says you can do that in the manual. Use a steam cleaner. They are made to suck up water.

Steam coming out of Miele S7000 upright vacuum cleaner

There is no steam generator on your Miele. It can only be smoke or dust. Are you certain it is steam. If you have sucked up water the motor could be in danger of shorting out.

Bissell 1699 ProHeat Clearview Steam Cleaner won't pick up

Usually if the water isn't being sucked up is either the filter in the lid of the tank is clogged, or the gasket that sits on top of the clear window nozzle and the tank is missing.

Eureka deep steam cleaner

When these stop picking up water, I assume it is spraying the water out, is because of a missing seal, where the suction port is, or a filter is clogged. Tank isn't set down like it should be.

Steam cleaner

Most upright steam cleaners like Hoover and Bissell, you put in the hot water, bissell does have a heater, but it only helps get the hot water a alittle hotter. But a model number would help.
