- no this does not mean its busted already, its just a fix to reset your printer ink pad counter......its going to be a complete waste to throw away a perfectly good machine.......you actually dont have to replace the ink pad if it is not smearing the print outs....... you can also clean the pad by using a damp cloth and press it to the ink pad which is located at the far right inside the machine
