Re: cobweb?

You'll need to have the frame of the tv either opened so you can reach in there or the top mirror block assy will need to be removed to get inside to the screens. You may want to have a Sony ASC do this type of repair. Call Sony for a referral.

My red blue and green have seperated it looks like a 3d movie?i have a projection floor model.

Your IC's on yjur convergence board have failed. The convergence board is accessed through the front of most projectors. You are looking for two devices with a number like STK 392-110 STK 392-150 or STK 392-180. These devices solder in, You may also find a burned resistor or two, and there may be a small fuse blown in the circuit. (not all have a fuse).

What's the insid of the TV look like?

Basically, what you have is a convergence problem, very, very common amongst rear projection TVs. Here is a link to a website where the guy shows step by step including pictures on how to fix it yourself. If not, the repair costs anywhere from $250-400. Best of luck.

Clean behind the screen.

to packerfan. yesterday i did some thinking. i had the same problem w/ my toshiba 57". cobwebs in the viewing screen. i found the solution to be simple. take the front panel off. it's just held on by some clips. remove the black cardboard cover that protects the wiring. it's simple just w/ a screwdriver. attach a feather duster w/ duct tape to a 2 ft. dowel or longer if your arms are short.there are several places you can go up to dust. i found that if you clean 1/2 of the screen then the other 1/2 you should be done all tolled in about 10 mins. presto! my screen has never looked so good.too bad it's taken me 3 yrs. to figure it out. hope this solution works for you as great as it worked for me!!!
