My sansa e250

1) when i try to change date & time, it starts out at Sept. 24 2007 12 am. so i change the time and day, entering in all the settings, and nothing changes. when i go back to change the settings again, it goes to jan 1 1970 at 12 am. if i restart the player, it goes back to sept. 24 '07 and the settings still wont change.

2) when i try to listen to the radio, no matter if i change it to all the different stations i listen to or anything, my player wont make a single sound. not if i move around, lock\unlock the player or set presets. but it says its playing, and the volume says its changing and i can tune it. still no power96 or 93rock =(

3) i can't synchronize music from windows media player. it tries to put my whole library in there instead of specific songs, and when i try to do specific playlists, pc says they cant find the player or its not working or whatever. i tried going through my computer, but i couldnt figure out what folder to put it in, and i didnt want to mess around with it. i finally put music on throught the expandable memory card frum my computer.

help....

Ok, for 1 and 2, format the mp3 player and turn it on and let it load. MAKE SURE it is in USB mode called "MSC" on the player before you format it.

Now for 3, you have to drag and drop your music from the library to the bar on the side then press sync.

If this doesn't work, respond and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Ok, we are going to have to put it in recovery mode then. Follow the steps below:

Make sure the player is off and disconnected from your computer.

When the player is off and disconnected, turn it on "Hold" while still off.

Once that is done, hold "Record" and "Power/Menu" until a black screen with white text loads.

Once you do that, go into "My Computer" and right click the icon that represents the player.

Then click format. NOTE: Do not change ANY formating settings, JUST click start.

Then, like I said before, just let it load and it should work. If not, try updating the firmware with the firmware updater that you can download from their website, http://www.sandisk.com/.

    Have a wonder New Years.
