Cant pair bigben controller to ps3. Theres no where to put usb cable into it

Bigben controller and ps3
i had this problem with bigben mega pack bought with ps3 nov08
the problem is caused i find that the sony wireless controller supplied
has been already allocated as number 1 controller, this has to be changed while the bigben matches
the FIX:
boot the machine with sony controller and go into
settings\accessory settings\reassign controllers\ and re-assign the sony as number 3
(use left stick to move numbers up/down)
plug in the bigben receiver unit into a usb slot and then switch on the bigben
now the receiver light should now stop flashing and the bigben now has a single light agains number 1
go again into re-assign controllers and change the bigben to number 2
then re-assign the sony controller from number 3 to number 1
close down system
re-boot using the sony PS button (the bigben PS button does not boot PS3)
the sony should now be indicating that it is again number 1
the bigben receiver unit should have a steady red light but
the bigben will have all the lights flashing - click the PS button and they will stop
it now should only showing one light next to number 2, so is assigned as number 2 conroller
thats it
'
Note: I wanted to use 2 controllers for the game 'littlebigplanet'
Now if the two controllers are on, the game asks to assign a profile for the
other controller when it opens, so then you choose another user (that u have created)
Then another rag doll drops into the pod that is controlled only by the bigben (user2)

I can't set the controller buttons C12 to C19 to separate actions in Reaper. It treats them all as the same button, and when I want to assign a separate one it rewrites the last one and they all just have...

The knobs on your M-Audio are probably assigned to the same function within the device. Certain numbers for controllers are reserved for MIDI CC, but the O2 already has built-in mappings that should work for most of its controllers within various DAWs, like Logic, Reason & Ableton Live. It's probably been reprogrammed...and not in a great way.
Here's how to fix this:
To verify the ID of a controller, move it so the number on the LED changes, then wait 2 seconds. The number that shows up on the LED display is the unique ID of the knob. If more than one of the controller is using the same ID, they will function like you suggested, as the same control.
Here's how to break them out into different unique controller IDs.
On the O2, select the 'advanced function' button, you'll see a dot following whatever the controller number displayed; this let's you know it's awaiting instruction. The keys are now awaiting data entry.
Then select your first knob. After the pause, this will display a number. The first C Sharp is the Controller Assign (it says ctrl asgn).
Using the Recall buttons to go up or down or simply selecting the numbers listed on the keyboard, select any number, and make sure it's unique from your other controller IDs. Hit the enter key. The dot on the display will go away, letting you know the data is saved to internal memory.
Repeat with all controllers, and then open your DAW to start knob twiddling! They will all now be recognized within your program, accessible for assigning as unique controllers.
For more in-depth knowledge, here's a link to the manual, spelling out this feature and many others.

When i first start the game 2 sackboys pop up. its all fine until i get to the end of the first round and it asks that all sackboys need to stand on the platform. I cant get the other one on the platform...

Make sure you are playing with controller 1, restart your ps3 and make sure the controller is on the red light that says number 1. Or you can hold the ps3 home button down in the centre of the controller untill a menu appears, then scroll down to controller settings and then choose which controller number you would like it to be under.
Hope this helps!

How to program new controller

When using the controller for the first time, you must first pair the devices. If you turn on the system and connect the controller using USB cable, the pairing will be completed automatically. Each time u turn on the system, a number must be assigned to the controller. When the controller has been assigned a number, the port indicators for the assigned number turns solid red. U can connect up to 7 controllers at one time. The controller number is shown by the number above the port indicator. for numbers 5-7, add the numbers of the lit indicators. Hope this solves your problem.

My controller wont connect to my xbox 360 even tho i have my controller plugged into the concile

If this is a wired controller, it sounds like it may be broken and you'll have to call Microsoft and see if they can do anything about it. If it's a wireless controller that you're charging through the USB, you still have to synchronize the controller first. To sync the controller you need to press a circular button on the front of the 360 just under the DVD tray and the ring of light will start spinning. Next turn on the controller and then you press another small circular button next to where you plug the charger into the controller and the ring of light on the controller will spin. Once they connect to each other they will both blink and then light up to indicate which controller number the controller has been assigned.

Ps3 guitar hero controller lights up two lights for controller numbers wont work any help?

From Activision's Support site:

The 2.80 firmware update causes the Guitar Hero instruments to connect to the Playstation with a high controller number. As a result Guitar Hero will not recognize the instrument at launch. To remedy this you will need to change the controller assignment in the Playstation 3 XMB system menu.

In the XMB go to Settings->Accessory Settings->Reassign Controllers. From here you will be able to change the controller number. Assign your first instrument to controller number 1 and increment the controller numbers for any additional instruments that you have connected. If you are using a microphone make sure to connect a standard PS3 controller before launching the game.

Setting up a 360 wireless controller

Turn Your Console and Controller On The Xbox® Guide button in the center of your controller puts the Xbox 360® experience at your fingertips. Press and hold the Xbox Guide button to turn your console on.
To turn on your console only, press the power button on your console. To turn on your controller only, press the Start button on your controller.
Once on, pressing the Xbox Guide button gives you immediate access to the Xbox Guide. To turn off your console, press and hold the Xbox Guide button for three seconds and then confirm your selection.
Turn Your Console and Controller Off To turn your console and controller off, press and hold the Xbox Guide button on your controller for three seconds. Then select whether you want to turn off just your controller or both your controller and your console. (Selecting the console will turn off both the console and all connected controllers.)
To turn off one controller when multiple wireless controllers are connected, press and hold for three seconds the Xbox Guide button of the controller you want to turn off, then select Turn Off Controller.
To turn off your console only, press the power button on your console
When you connect a controller to your console, it is assigned a specific quadrant, which glows green to indicate the controller's number and position. Each subsequent controller connected to the console (up to four) is assigned an additional quadrant.
If system problems should arise, the Ring of Light on the console will flash combinations of red.

I hope this solved your problem.
Happy Gaming!

PS3 SETUP

Hi, This May help ?

You can change the controller port/number assignments. If the controller port/number is specified by the software, assign the appropriate controller port/number.*
Controller port 2-D cannot be assigned using the PS3 system.

You can check the current controller assignments by pressing the PS button on the controller.
