Seems like the resolution is set in correctly, try lowering it in your operating system

Try to power cycle first the monitor. Turn the computer off and disconnect the monitor. Leave it disconnected for about 15-20 minutes. Then reconnect it to the computer and turn the computer back on. If same problem occurs, try connecting the monitor into another computer to see if it's the monitor or the computer.

The best thing to isolate the problem is if you are connecting the monitor using DVI, try connecting it to the computer using VGA connection. This will tell you if the problem is the monitor or the connection to the computer.

If the problem disappears using VGA connection, then it's not your monitor but it could be the DVI connection in your computer.
