Are you referring to the thermal fuse in the control compartment? There's a kit that does a small modification to the wiring. Make sure that was done. Part # is 8193762 should run around $20

Which fuse, and what amperage/voltage?
fuse issues should not be ignored.
sounds like you have an intermittent problem.
i suspect sears missed the boat on this one.
there is clearly something wrong.
ask them to put into writing that its ok for the fuse to blow.
that ought to get them back out.
worse case scenario is that you are supplying undersized wire to the unit. that could account for various problems. a long run can cause a normal wire to be too small for the job. for instance, if you put a dishwasher in an outdoor kitchen and run hundreds of feet of #12 wire to it, it will not be the right size, at some point you would need to go to a #10 or larger wire for a long run.
if you have very old wiring or a long run, i suspect the issue is in the machine wiring and boards.
again, get sears back.
good luck

How to find short circuit

Different circuits needs different ways. You can start by checking which fuse gets blown when replaced and check what circuit that fuse supplies it's power to. That will narrow down your search to within that circuit. Next remove all components that are connected to the circuit. Replace fuse again. If it still blows, that means that the supply lines is shorted to ground. REMEMBER. Fuses gets blown when its supply line is shorted to ground. If fuse does not blow, connect each component one at a time. The component that blows the fuse once connected is the one that is short circuited.

Unit does not power up. Opened unit and found fuse closest to power switch blown inside unit. Will replacing this fuse get my unit working again? If so, what would cause this fuse to blow? please help.

It is possible that the fuse was blown due to a surge and replacing it will resolve the problem, but I wouldn't expect it. Usually when the main fuse blows, the primary stage of the power supply has a problem and the replacement fuse will blow as well. This is not a cheap amp and I would suggest that it be checked by a service tech. A few quick measurements internally can determine the likely fault and should not cost too much as an estimate fee.

Please keep us posted.

Fuses

use a volt meter to check for voltage at the fuse with the bike running ....shouldnt be more than about 14.7 volts....if its 15-17 or higher your voltage regulator is blown and needs replacing...if its within spec then you probably have a short somewhere in the power wire to the headlight thats touching ground (the frame)

Car Amp keeps blowing fuses

The reason why fuses blow is that the current is too much. Is the fuse rating according to the specs ? If yes then ... One or more output power transistor (or audio power IC) may be shorted. have it checked before replacing another fuse as this might cause more damage.
