TI Voyage 200 Calculator: Blank vertical lines are appearing on the screen. The solution to this problem for Franki_01: Where is the electrolytic capacitor? Among U3 & U4 not see it. http://www.datamath.org/Graphing/JPEG_Voyage200_A.htm#row ****************** Solution for Frankie_01: Hi, and sorry for my english ! Maybe the LCD driver voltage is wrong or noisy. I had the same problem: some vertical lines (not constant), pulsing contrast after powerup, pixel crosstalk, sometimes no screen Solution: Try to replace the LCD power negative voltage buffer capacitor. In my hardware version it is in the middle of the two T6B07 column driver IC (U3&U4) on the right side. Colored black, electrolytic type and the Value is : 10uF/25V. Chage it to around the same type. There is enought space, so you can use a small sized non smd type capacitor. Be care of the polarity. I hope it will help... ;) Greetings from Hungary! ********************** Thanks and best regards

How do I create a program in the program editor that does the same as the Solve, when I have the following x(n+1)=sin(x(n))+1.54*x^0.6? To solve this without using solve we iterate the function to know the value of x so that x(n+1) = x(n) by saying that 0

When I press the "On" Button, the calculator screen becomes black for a
very short time and then becomes white. There is nothing I can do
except pressing "2nd"+"On" (Off) or resetting the calculator
("Hand"+"2nd"+"On"). The reset makes the screen blink like the "power
on". The "hard reset" (remove all the batteries) also doesn't help.
The screen seems to work because the white that I can see if the Voyage
200 is turned off is not the same as the white when it's turned on
(it's a bit darker). The keyboard also seems to be ok (reset works).
Perhaps the connection between the board and the screen is the problem.
