On july 12th 2009, I purchased one AT&T DECT 6.0 Black/Silver Digital BlueTooth Cordless Answering System (TL92278) from Best Buy store, @ New York City. After that I had to return to Pune, India on work re-location. I tried to use the Cordless Answering System here in India. I used a voltage stepdown transformer to support the equipment in India. However in next few minutes, I heard a beep sound and the equipment stop functioning. I am sure the circuit had open. All these happened within 30 days from the date of purchase. However I didn't got an oppoturnity to return this back to the store.

This is a brand new piece and I am upset with the functionality got broken. On the positive note I am highly interested to know if this circuit can be repaired (set right to function) or replaced with a new circuit. I will be more happy if your team can come up with a solution/direction to get this instrument set work as normal. If so kindly advice me of how this could happen and also the cost associated to get this back to function.
