If you see a dim image on the LCD screen when you view it at a sharp angle, then the monitor has a backlight fault. The fault could be the inverter board which supplier high voltage to the CCFL lamp or the CCFL lamp could be faulty. The CCFL lamp is a mini fluro tube and can fail when it ages.

Firstly check all the cables are correctly inserted and they are in tight. Secondly restart the device that the monitor is connected to and also ensure that it is set to display on an external monitor. e.g. in laptops there is an fn key combination that you need to complete on the keyboard in order to display on an external monitor

My question is for adriananders. I have a I-INC CY199D lcd monitors, and like all of the other post with this monitor, due to a power outage at my home, the monitor now displays no picture, and the led is blinking yellow and blue, in a fixed pattern. Your posts regarding this monitor: "I have repaired three of these monitors all with the same fault no components were required just the eeprom re flashed. The EEPROMs are very cheap so I will buy a few and pre programm them for others wishing to repair there own monitors." I have experience in this area of repair and I was hoping that I might be able to purchase (2) of the flashed EEPROM chips for this monitor (I-INC CY199D). Any assistance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.
