HI, I had to format my Nokia 5800. Now it asks me to insert a pin for my memory card. i have tried the usual ones like 00000 / 12345 but nothing works. What can i do?

You can recover the password, the best way is to download a file manager to your phone. I recommend Best Fileman
In the file manager you'll find under- C:\System\mmcstore -the file you're looking for, you have to rename the file- mmcstore.txt -then send it to another mobile or your PC via bluetooth open it on the other phone and your password will be revealed.
Rename the file- mmcstore.txt -to just- mmcstore -there might be another file named- mmcstore.txt -to view your password rename one or the other- mmcstore1.txt -one is for your phone PIN number the other your MMC card.

Hi i have my memory card password forget
you can unlock your 2gb sd card..
1. Insert the sd card into a software phone. (eg. Nokia 6120c, 5800, 5233 etc..)
2. Select settings > data mgr > memory > options > format memory card..
Note- formating memory card will delete all datas in your sd card

if u forget your password..
U can unlock it.. By formating.. Format memory card will delete all the datas in memory card.
For these.. Use a software phone(eg nokia 5800, 6120c, 5233, 5230 etc)
Insert the memory card into a software set. Now go to settings > data mgr > memory> options > format memory card...
Its working.. Try it..

May be memory card is not inserted properly, plug it out and insert it again. and switch off and then do on your phone.
if not working by doing above...
Then there may be memory card problem, or format of memory card not supported by phone...
Do a memory card format using your PC, format it with NTFS file system. and then insert it into your phone it may start working...

I reinstalled my nokia 5800 expressmusic software from nokia care... they asked me to first scan my memory card then insrt it into phone... memory card is not working and phone speed becomes also slow.....
Definitely your memory card is heavily infected by viruses .
format your memory card and then insert it into your phone.

format ur memory card,,,if its not letting u to do that..ur mmc(memory card) may be corrupt...ok do one thing.if u have card reader ,,then its ok.after inserting mmc reader select FAT 32 format not the NTFS system and fornmat it,...it will work
