I have a driver problem.. is there any one know about SM bus controller???? where i can get a driver?? i try to download in the manufacturer.. i don't know what driver i should download..

You can use Driver Genius to scan for drivers. It will give you a list of drivers for your system.

You need to download chipset driver first....if you are using XP SP1 or SP2 then you have to install SP3 from microsoft website and also download the following hot fixes
KB835221 and KB888111
these are required to install Audio driver

You need to install Chipset drivers. SM bus will be recognized automaticly when you install chipset drivers

SM bus controller is known as chipset controllers.
There are two places for you to download the proper drivers for the Satellite A15-S129. The first comes from Toshiba, listed at the link provided here: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_dtlViewDL.jsp?soid=441050&moid=513330&rpn=PSA10U&BV_SessionID=@@@@0733279044.1204275381@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccceadedhfjflfkcgfkceghdgngdgmm.0&ct=DL&all_docs=false

If by some God awefull reason this failes to install correctly.
You can allow intel to check your notebook & it will determine what .inf your notebook needs.

Click on Intel® chipset Software Installation Utility

Hello you can download the drivers here:

Start downloading the chipset driver and install it.
Select the newest one for your operating system.
All the files you need to download has to be unziped
before installation.
Next download the graphic driver.This should be an intel driver.
Try also to look in the device manager.
Run also windows update it can sometimes find the driver for you.

The SMBus Controller (or system bus controller) is part of the Intel chipset. It monitors your system board's temperature and voltage. Programs that read your hardware sensors need the controller.
You should have a system disk for the motherboard, or go to the manufactures site, download & update the Motherboard chipset drivers.

Go to the downloads/support website of that Manufacturer.

have you tried to use the fn+f5 key? its the toogle key.?

ok you can try checking or downloading a generic system bus controller on the intelsite.com

or if you can't find it you can try a system restore if it still doesn't work try a full system recovery.. you can do this by using the recovery disc.?

try to go to acer website if they have bios update. and pls notify me if all this solution don't work ok? i'd be happy to help you.
