Upgrade the processor on a Toshiba equium l40...

I've just replaced the dvd drive on my Toshiba equium and was wondering if i can upgrade to a faster processor such as a duo, can this be done and how? cheers Steve

WizThe core2 duo chips will be a different socket to your celeron cpu so can do that unfortunately. You may be able to upgrade to a faster cpu of the same socket type but will probably need a bios update for it to run at proper speed.
Unfortunately laptops arent really designed to be upgraded at all bar extra ram/hd/dvdrw.
