The first thing I would check for is bad convergence chips-in PARTICULAR if the 'colors looked weird' just before it died. bad convergence chips--probably STK 392-110's (which should be UPGRADED to 392-150's) are very common in these sets.

Don't open up the TV. You may regret it. Unplug the set for 5 minutes....not just shut off....uplug the power plug from power source and replug after 5 minutes. It may need resetting.
Hello,
the error light sequence that you are seeing is indicating a "backlight error". Most likely you have a bad inverter board -the board that powers up the back-lights behind the display panel. They might be available via ebay if you are a DIYer, or you need to call for sony service.
Good Luck!

Try pushing the "source" button on remote or on the TV. Wait about 5 seconds, if no picture, push again. Do this at least 6 times or until you get a picture. With each push, the TV will look for cable input, dvd input, etc. until it finds your cable signal.
Also make sure your cable/antenna is hooked up and working.
If that doesn't work, hold down the "enter" button for 10 seconds to reset the tv to original factory settings. Then follow the on-screen menu setup instructions.

It sounds like you need to re-register the earpiece to the base. To do this, use the following steps:
1. Return the headset to the Headset Docking Cradle 2. Press and hold both the Speak Volume Adjust Buttons (+/-) on the back of base unit for a minimum of 5 seconds. The Red Power Indicator will then flash 3. Press and hold the Headset Mute Switch (black button on top of earpiece) for a minimum of 5 seconds. The On-line indicator (green light on boom) will then illuminate. 4. Subscription completion is indicated when the Power Indicator is fully illuminated and the On-line Indicator is extinguished. 5. If subscription fails within 2 minutes the headset will return to the un-subscribed state.
