Stopping partway through a CD.

posted by sherry-61 on Dec 26, 2007

As I play a CD, sometimes I want to stop partway through and restart later at the place where I left off. However, when I restart the CD, it always goes back to the beginning. Can I do something to make it hold my place and restart where I left off?

This is not possible to change as it is the nature of all CD players, unlike DVD players which give you the stop/resume function. Cd players have a similar function called pause, but other than that its alm,ost impossible to fully stop and start off again from where you left off unless you skip to the track and hold the skip button to fast foward/rewind.
