My Fridge has stopped working on 2 occasions and then restarts after I unplug and plug back in.

- I unplugged it and replugged in right away. The light still works, everything else is normal. It just stops cooling and there is a dripping sound like it is thawing out. I turned the theromstad higher because the manual suggests doing that.

When you unplug it, how long do you leave it off before plugging back on? This will help pinpointing to the problem.

Because your refrigerator has an Adaptive Defrost Control board I believe we need to look inside the fresh food section and behind the control panel where the temperature controls are located. - When the board I listed goes bad your refrigerator will begin to do strange things. Just depends on the part on that board that fails. The board turns the compressor off for defrost and the fans. Sometimes that board will stop the fans and that is just as bad. Sometimes it sticks into defrost. Yes it could be a start capacitor or start relay or a defective fan, but knowing that refrigerator the ADC Adaptive Defrost Control is most likely the problem. Sea Breeze
