Same Problem

Mar 08, 2009

-   same proble as Stewart76 except, I've had mine for 4 years and only recently started having problems. It is sharing a line with DSL; there is a noise filter on the line. I tried replacing the filter but it made no difference. I have a wifi router but powering it off does not make the static go away.-   Guest

-   No problems for 2 months. Now I cannot hear messages left on machine because of loud static. Manufacturer says to return to retailer, retailer says says 30 day return period expired, not his problem.-   Guest

-   Have had this phone for over a year. It's worked perfectly and suddenly last week there is tons of static when I use the phone. None on the line that is corded so it's not the phone line. What is it? -   Guest

Lost Manual.  Had electrical storm and message keeps telling me to reregister it.  I have a base station and two out stations in other rooms.  How do I register them.

Too much static. Moving it to another jack does not help. Changing it to another channel does not help. Having no other appliance plugged in to the outlet does not help. Help!

I hear almost as much static on my new 6 MgHz V Tech phone with built in anwering machine as I did on my old 5.8 MgHz Uniden phone. So much for the new phone-dedicated 6 MgHz spectrum.
