The DVD lens is worning out and the day is not far when it will not play any DVDs but will play audio CDs etc...and then not also that. The typical life of a lens is not more than 2 years...So the only solution is the replace the lens in the system

When playing cd's the player skips and then stops when the second part of the disc is reached?

If the CD plays correctly in some other player (or in the CD-player in your vehicle), then your Panasonic CD-player is the cause of the problem. If under warranty, get it replaced. If not under warranty, purchase a replacement.

Does the model HTS3372D/F7 play both Blue Ray and DVD or just DVD's ?

If you web searched the question or for a manual you might find something like

... which says "Plays it all
Play virtually any disc you want - whether they be CDs, (S)VCDs, DVDs, DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW or DVD+R DL. Experience unbeatable flexibility and the convenience of playing all your discs on the one device."

which says "If there are questions regarding our TV set

compatibility with this model 525p and 625p
DVD player..."

Um, no Blu-Ray.

Dvd will not play in dvd player but will play in computer

I don't know if I really find the solution but several burned discs I decide to burn a poor disc 8x instead my emtec 16x and voil'a the disc go on my SC-HT70. I suppose it doesn't support new type of discs with higher velocities even burned at a lower velocity (4x). If any one have another solution please let me know.
Also I know we can upgrade firmware of Panasonic but it can only be done by a technician and it's very expensive.

Toshiba SD-43HK Discs failing to load.

Sorry not a solution but experienced the same problem. The problem started off the same as you described by now my player won't play DVDs at all. Seems that the laser is faulty and it is cost prohibitive to repair (it's sold as a complete module which would be around £100). I've been advised to replace it :-(

Problem with original dvd

Before performing any operations, make sure of the following: ? Check the connection with the TV. ? Turn on the TV and select the correct input on the TV to view the pictures or on-screen indications on the TV screen. ? For DVD playback, you can change the Setup menu setting to your preference menu... Alos, make sure thay the system and disc region code numbers are incompatible: The following discs cannot be played back: ? DVD-Audio, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-ROM, CD-I, (CD-I Ready), Photo CD, etc. Playing back these discs will generate noise and damage the speakers. * Note on Region Code DVD players and DVD Video discs have their own Region Code numbers. This system can play back DVD discs recorded with the color system of NTSC and PAL whose Region Code numbers include ?3.?
