Question about Sony Ericsson K800i Cellular Phone
After about a month of working faultlessly, my phone decided to spite me by killing itself.
For no reason apparently, when I turn the phone on, I get a white screen that doesn't go away. No buttons do anything, including the power button, the only way to get rid of the white screen is to remove the battery (which I don't think is very healthy for the phone at all). Sometimes the white screen disappears and is replaced with black deadness, which after 10 seconds or so, is then replaced by the white screen again.
I first saw the problem when reading a text message from a friend (if that counts for anything at all).
It is the first phone I ever bought (pretty rare for someone my age) so I'm really annoyed that it has decided to hate me when all I ever showed it was love (not in a physical way or anything).
The display is not the problem. Its the OS of the phone it does that (on a regular basis i might add) you need to reistall the phones software.Get to a service shop its a very simple thing to be done.I have the same problem and i'm now serching for ways to do this my self but for now thats the best advise i can give. And by the way dont turn your phon on and off on a regular basis ( Like when you go to sleep) that send the software to hell.

Several possibilities, including the display itself, the video controller chip, or the connection between the display and the circuit board. If you have the know-how and the spare parts lying around, you can make some repairs, but it's usually easier and cheaper to get another phone.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
