Re: how to wire in

Try this link - it's a PDF of the Owners Manual for a Radio Shack "Noise-Cancelling Dynamic CB Microphone" - Cat. No.: 21-01177

Page 3 has a chart for wiring/re-wiring the 5-pin DIN connector for other radios - lists wire colors & functions

My Jensen MCD 5110 Marine radio acts like the antenna is unplugged. I can't figure out how to remove the radio from it's sleeve to re-plug the antenna jack (if that is the problem)

I don't know much about marine radios. I am a ham radio operator, but they are much the same, if you do not hear any static (with squelch control turned down), then I suspect you are correct about the antenna. It could be the antenna itself, or the coax line to it, or the connection point at the radio or at the antenna. You're stuck without being able to remove it. If you do and find nothing at the radio, you'll need to check the connection at the antenna etc. Good luck.

It's not a CB radio, therefore your question should be posted in Cars & Trucks section.

We are tring to install this model CD player into my 1999 Honda Accord. All wires are accounted for except for one remaining orange and white wire for "illumination". Where does this wire go?

you do not need it. It will only make the display on the radio dim when you turn head lights on.

If you used a harness adapter, it would connect this correctly so it will work. If you cut the harness, that was a bad move.

Just make sure you tape up the end of the wire so it doesn't short.

How to wire a power echo mic up theres 5 wires and 4 oins

I suggest buying a 5 pin to 4 pin adapter. Ebay has them for $6. I would go chopping wires on the mic. Cobra 29 ltd is a nice radio. Have one myself.

The red wire is the power wire which can be wired to your fuse box to turn the radio off buy your key.The orange wire is a memory back up which must be wire to a constant 12 volts(this will keep the radio on the same channel when you shut the car off) The black wire is ground.

Tevion car radio 5705

Yes Phil, The radio will work on 2 speakers except, you should add an 8 - 10 ohm 10 watt resistor to the output wires of any speaker that is not hooked up ( to protect the audio output chip)
Good Luck

Fm radio/speakers

check that there are speakers! stupid as it sounds, sometimes there are just covers with holes behind...

If there are speakers trace the wiring through to the source make sure it has been conected both ends...

Or check the balance & fader on the set.
