TRANSFERRING PHOTOS TO COMPUTER If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.
connect to what??PC through USB cable??
you have to download a software from motorola.com
just go to the site, then type software downloads on the search tab found at the upper right portion of the web age..
you can see your phone's software update from there..
follow the above line.... and probably you must have a memory card in the fone.... once you are done with downloading the driver
connect the fone and you would get the 'found new hardware baloon' select 'no not this time' and click next and browse to the driver which is downloaded, click next and finish the process...
once you remove and connect the fone you would get a prompt on the fone's display "connect phone as storage device" click yes to transfer data or click no or leave it alone for the fone to get charged...
hope this helps you..
use this alt link to download driver
incase of any further clarifications vishal at games.com....
hey, If your driver cd has been installed and the camera shows up in the pc, and it doesnt complain about anything you should be able to view the images by:
1. goto desktop
2. Open my computer
3. now look around for the cameras storage memory, there should be a new drive there. If you now remove the cameras usb cable. and plug it back, keep the my computer open and watch witch drive disapears and comes back.
4. The one that disapeared and came back, is your cameras memory, open it and open the folders with in it to get to your pictures.
5. now that you have found the picture files, you can copy them to your pc, or print them, or send them to a online picture service to have them mail the pictures for you. This costs ofcourse.
Unplug the printer. After uninstalling the software make sure you delete the printer from Printers and Faxes!
Try plugging it up again(don't install back the software just as yet), the New device found pop up should come up! if it doesn't then it could be the USB cable / the USB ports on the PC or the USB interface on the card! If it does , put the cd in the drive and select Install Drivers automatically(if its pops up)
Also, Try using different USB ports if the new device pop up doesn't pop up!
Test the USB ports by using a regular USB device in the same port you are plugging the printer into!
A bad USB cable could be the issue but it can also be something else!
You'll need to verify that its the cable, what you can do is try it with a cable that you know is fully functional!
If you still don't get a response from the printer and everything else works(i.e. usb cable, usb ports) then it could be the USB interface on the printer! and you'll need to take it to a tech!
Hope this helps!!
