What you seem to have is a convergence problem.
If you have a picture with something that looks like 3D effects then some parts will need to be replaced.

This set uses two convergence packs that go bad and take with them a resistor or two. You will need a repar shop to get it fixed. If it's over 10 years old, I would suggest getting a new HDTV set as these sets can start going downhill fairly rapidly past this age. If that's not an option, the repair could run over $350 IMHO.
