Park the tractor on a firm, level surface. . .
At the lower end of the lift/lower travel slot, there should be a plastic cover which you pop up so that your blade lift handle goes all the way down (it should say something about blade level on there somewhere. . . . .
After you have the handle in this position, look at the front lift arms of the mower deck and find the 2 large wing nuts, one on each side. . . . .
Loosen these while the deck is down and then retighten them Your deck is now level

Murray Select Model # 405000X8 trong vibration when I engage mower deck. Also can't keep deck even.

Could be a number of things included but not limited to.....blade spindle bearings....idle pulley or engager pulley......could also have a bad spot in belt....causing a vibration. This vibration could also lead to deck coming out of level as that model have a leveling adjustment on the deck level control lever.

I have a problem with my ride on mower. we need to replace the belt that drives a twin cutting disks on a Victa 4013TX but cannot find any diagrams to help.

4013 HT is a Victa with a 13hp briggs and stratton engine normally with a twin blade 40in deck. These were badge engineered Noma mowers and essentially equivalent to murrays made at the same time. Check diagrams for murray decks to find one with the same deck configuration.

The mower deck drive belt slipped off the idler pulley on my 42'' Murray riding mower deck because the idler pulley was worn out. I need to know how to loop the belt back around the pulleys after I replace...

Get the model number off the tractor, go to:

www.murray.com

enter the model number and you will find a manual with pictures of how to route the belts along with a lot of other good information
