Howdy everyone, I have a Compaq Evo N610c and I am trying to get the wireless LAN W200 mod to work. I have installed the drivers per instructions from Conpaq however every time I try to turn it on I get a blue screen of deth. The error message tells me to go into BIOS and disable shadowing and another feathre I can't remember at the moment. I go into setup however I can't find my way into the BIOS settings. Anyone know how to fix this problem or can direct me in the way I should go? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Aboslutely yes but it should automatically detect wireless network in XP .
You have to reconfigure your network settings on the Laptop.

There may be many items on the following list of interest to you with your recent switch to Windows XP Pro, However the last 4 in networking referencing 802.11b and WL100 and possibly NetBIOS may well address the issues you are having.
