Re: Memory cards not being read

Im having the same memory card issue. I booted up the system again yesterday and I logged in fine, then I got kicked and now it's also not reading my memory card. Which sucks because our profiles are on it, so recovering the gamertag seems like the smart thing to do at least for the one that has xbox live, but then guess what? Nope, can't connect.

360 x box no profile from hdd tried recover gametag no memory unit found

unplug the xbox 360 and then unplug the hard drive, if you have a connectivity kit connecdt the hard drive to your pc and see if it detects the hard drive, if it doesnt then your hard drive is most likely faulty , if it does detect it tell it to fix it, this is the only way you will be able to check it as your console is obviously not seeing it.

I deleted my memory on my xbox 360 and now my memory can.t read my xbox what to do now

Please be more specific? Did you have it saved to your a memory card or to your hard drive? If you had it saved to either and you DELETED the memory, there is no way to recover it.

I just bought a Max Memory card and the xbox 360 is not reading it

Before christmas, microsoft were threatening to block all non official microsoft memory units from being used on the xbox, I have no idea whether they have carried out this threat, but there seems to be alot of problems with memory units lately, your best to contact customer support and find out whats going on.

make sure it is fully plugged in and go into settings and then memory and make sure it pops up and then select it if not maybe halo needs a hard drive but i dont think but if it doesnt pop up in memory then its probably a faulty memory stick
