How to use my itunes as ringtones? - Apple iPhone 3G

Hi,
1- Download iTunes from www.itunes.com and install it.
2- Connect your iPhone to your computer... a few seconds later your iPhone will apear on itunes.
3- Click on it and go to the Ringtone tab and select a ringtone from your library.

Open itunes and drag those ringtones to itunes library once they dragged in try to play them. After they play you just need to connect your phone to computer and sync should start automatically.

You have to use itunes to turn it into a ringtone. You can either pay itunes the fee to do so, and then it will transfer to your phone, or you can search the apps for "ringtone maker" and get an app that will allow you to crop any of your songs into a ringtone. It will be available on itunes next time you connect your iphone to Itunes.

go to myxer.com and find a song you want then there should be a button that says download for iphone. You will then download the file. Once downloaded you click and drag that file onto iTunes on the top left where is says music, movies, ect. it will then make a ring tone category you can now sync you phone and the ring tone should me there :)

Open iTunes and click on the 'ringtones'tab.
Make sure the Download all selection is chosen, or check the box next to all the ringtones.
Click sync, and the ringtones should sync to your phone.

First you must be sure that your ringtones are in the correct format. Watch my YouTube video to see how you can create your own iPhone ringtone:

Once your all done creating your own ringtone, simply sync your iPhone with your iTunes and all the ringtones you created will be transferred to your iPhone.

I had the same problem. I hooked my phone back up to iTunes and synced my phone. Ringtone disappeared from phone, but remained in my computer's iTunes. Then I added it back to my phone through iTunes by syncing ringtones specifically. Here is step by step:
1. Plug in iPhone 2. Sync Phone 3. Click on iPhone, open Ringtones tab 4. Check "Sync ringtones" box and Select your Ringtone 5. Click Sync
This worked for my phone. Hope it helps. I used my phone to download ringtone.

WHEN YOUR IPHONE IS CONNECTED TO YOUR MAC/PC UNDER DEVICES YOU WILL SEE YOUR PHONE THEN GOT TO RINGTONE TAB AND SELECT SYNC LL RINGTONES REMEMBER THAT YOU CAN ONL DOWNLOAD PURCHASED RINGTONES TO YOUR IPHONE.
