Security Permissions issue when installing certificate

I'm trying to install a certificate file provided by my Company's helpdesk to configure a server source on Gigabyte gsmart i128 PDA for downloading my official mails into gsmart i128. When I click on file it states "You are about to install xxx, a certificate file issued by yyy. Do you want to continue? On clicking "Yes", it gives error message "Security Permission was insufficient to update your device". Please assist on how to install this certificate.

Re: Security Permissions issue when installing...

I don't know how big your company is but given that it has an IT help desk it must be of some size. Security has to be tight and it may well be that installing the certificate can only be done on certain units or by certain people within the IT department. I would have a word with them (if you have not already)

MC70: the scanners are becoming slow, not loading and no...

You could try and blank the Application folder. This would require installing any software and settings you require:-

Clean Boot Files for WM5

Clean Boot Files for WM6

Also there is a firmware update for the Siemens MC75 v2 GSM card. That may help your SIM issues.

If its not that try and clean you SIM card and contacts.

Hopethis helps.

Hi, i want install the smartphoneaddcert.exe in my Dolphin 7850

This file is a Win32 executable zip file. Run it on your PC. You'll be prompted to unzip the contents. You'll notice that it will generate a number of files in the directory you have specified. One of them is 'SpAddCert.exe'. Copy only this file to your PPC device. There, create a folder named 'Storage' in the root of the device (not in the storage card!), and copy your certificate(s) - .cer files - to it, since it's the only place where SpAddCert searches for certificates. Run SpAddCert on your device and follow the prompts. After installing your cetificate(s), restart your device.
Hope it works for you.
Cheers! Carlos

Moto Q can send, however can not recieve new messages

First thought is that your certificate expired. That would explain why it would work one day and not the next.
Next thought is that you made a change to the IIS server they use to sync. Try deleting the partnership on one phone and recreating it.

If this helps please vote for my solution.
