You need to provide more information for us to determine what was cut, is it still working? If it's not the keypad pad then you should be able to use it, if not it may need to be repaired.

Hope that helps

I have a samsung galaxy google cell phone for 7 weeks now and dropped it from my waist height to the floor. Now the phone will not work. the screen is not broken, sim card and battery is in tight, battery...

I used to repair thease and manny other brand phones, the problems is a lose conenction with the internal ribbon cable.

their are Lcd cables and Digitizer cables that connect the touch screen to the lcd. it;s an overlay for the most p[art. the idea is that the phone dropped and the screen cable probably came lose. this is more or likely a simple case of plugging the cable back in but id get some details on that phone so you know how to take apart and put back together. hints and tips like pressing on the side to help relieve pressure and the issues with the cables getting broken off due to pulling to hard are very real so please do not attempt if you are not confident in your abilities. their fairly cheap to replace these days.
Try this site out for more help.
Bellow is instructions for the HTC-T Mobile G1 Google cell phone But the idea is very similar. just Google your phone model if this is not the right one. the ldc cables are very thin and disconnect under any shock these day's

If you need more help please just clarify the make and model of your phone and we will see if we can get you more detailed instructions.

I cannot turn off the key bleeping

If you use your volume keys on the side of the phone, press the down one and volume level thing shows on the screen, in a circle from 0-7. pick the level of sound you want 0 is silent. or if you go into the settings menu on your keypad and go to the phone settings you will find keypad tones in there aswell where can also turn it off. hope that helps !

Lg dare touchscreen not working all of a sudden.

possible cause, you may be accidentaly drop it, or seat on it...

first if it has it manual keypad, then use it and try to set on factory setting default.

Default security code..12345 or 1234

see if it works but beware , all your personal profile might erase, but before doing it try to remove the sim card and memory card.

if it still not work then bring it to cellphone technician, there is a possibility that the flex (tape wire type) or the black crystal(small IC part)migh be damaged

How do i change the housing on my 6500 slide mobile

You need a T5 screwdriver and a new housing... Use an Original housing, copies dont usually fit right... 1, Remove Back cover and Battery. 2, Remove 4 T5 screws at the back of the phone, run your fingernail/opening tool around the housing and it should come away a little, dont pull it apart as there are 2 ribbons one for the Screen the other for the keypad. 3, Turn the phone over and run your fingernail under the keypad. 4, Carefully take the bottom half away with the phones PCB still in the bottom housing, using a flat screwdriver carefully lift off the two Ribbons 5, You can then remove the keypad from the top part of the phone, this is stuck on by double sided tape pull downwards, there are 2 spring loaded pieces on each side. 6, Remove the 4 T5 screws, 2 under where the Keypad was and 2 at the top 7, Again using your fingernail or a opening tool run around the edge and the screen part should come apart, dont damage the ribbon You now have the phone apart take out the bits and change what you like :)
