Press the shutter release button, to start the video. (mode dial is on the video camera) Press the shutter release button again, to stop the video. When you press again, the recording starts again.
So that is like pause, because the camera is in standby waiting for the next recording.
Hello Disconnect the recorder from power outlet for one minute and reconnect it again. If the recorder still don't operate well, you have to reset it to factory default settings.* Disconnect the recorder from the power outlet. * Press and Hold down the STANDBY/ON button on the front of the recorder whilereconnecting it into the power outlet. * Release the STANDBY/ON button when STARTING appears on the display. * Wait until the recorder's demo starts scrolling; press STANDBY/ON button again to turn ON the recorder. [All information stored in its memory will be erased. The first installation menu will be appeard on the TV screen. OK.
i know exactly whats wrong! the same thing happend to me.
1. turn off the gl1
2.look at the record button with the lock and standby switch
3.flip the switch all the way to standby because it might be stuck in the middle
4. turn on your camera
There is a simple solution to that... You see under the 'card-tape' switch? There's the red button for recording... attached to that button the is a switch that says 'tandby or lock'.... if you have it in 'lock' it will not let you go to record mode, you have to change it back to 'standby' and that should solve your problem.... Anymore question just e-mail me at Jacob.Bahling@Live.com and I was wondering if you had a copy of the installation CD I can buy or have.... or maybe you could tell me where to get it? Thanks.
These models have a switch for 3 different modes of record. one where you press the red button once, one for having to hold the red button in and a 5 second record feature, check this mode. also check and make sure the tape you are using did not have the record save switch slid into record save position..
Can you, or can someone you know, check for DC voltage on the speaker terminals when the amp is on, but not playing? Ideally, the meter should read 0mV with no signal, and certainly less than +/- 10mV. Anything over +/- 30mV is worth having checked out, especially if it changes as you turn the volume knob with no signal applied.
First of all, English is not my natural language, so please forgive me. My canon elura 100, bought in the US 1 year ago, had the same problem. After a big fall (from a second floor), the camera landed in wet sand and after that the camera won't record again (it plays the recorded files just ok). Just today i had the time to check the camera, so i disassemble the camera and found a poorly connected cable, that goes from from the lens body to the motherboard of the camera. After reconnecting this cable the camera start recording again.
may be the rec mode button is set at the anti grounding..usually at sony camera there are 3 switch mode the 5 sec mode, anti grounding and other and always use is the start and stop mode...this switch is located at the side of the camera...
