Question about HP OfficeJet 7310 All-In-One InkJet Printer
When drunk I knocked the printer off the table. Now it says that the cover door for the document feeder is not closed.
Possible cause is that you have broken the DF door tail that senses the door closed. Check by opening the cover you should see a slit with either a switch in there or a light sensor. Push the switch down using small flat blade screw driver or if light sensor place a folded piece of paper in the gap.
Either one should then recognize that the door is closed.
Hope this can help and if this does work will need to replace the door.
