Question about PC Laptops
This is happening when deleting programs or watching video on the internet..........
Also, if you have more than one drive letter assigned to just one physical hard drive, try moving the windows swap file to one of the other drive letters. By default this large file ends up on the C drive, but it can be moved to any other drive. I forget the exact steps, which will vary by operating system, but the capability will be under a "performance" tab and then probabry hiding behind and "advanced" button.

Open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Disk Cleanup, and then, in the list of results, click Disk Cleanup.
In the Drives list, click the hard disk drive that you want to clean up, and then click OK.
In the Disk Cleanup dialog box, on the Disk Cleanup tab, select the check boxes for the file types that you want to delete, and then clickOK.
In the message that appears, click Delete files.

I would download and run the registry
utility from iobit.com
It is freeware and works then run CHKDSK/F.
Within iobits programme are useful utilities that empty the temporary directories and can remove unwanted old files.
Hope that helps.
