Won't read disc's

theres a known problem with the hitashi dvd drive in the xbox 360.
the only solution to this is a home repair job, look up on youtube on how to do this, although this isnt recommended as it voids warranty.
so the best way is definitely just to ring microsoft and send ur console in for repair.

clean the discs and if it still doesn't work take it back to the shop and replace it.

when you put the game in, after the disk tray closes, hold the disk tray up and hold there until the game starts. Then you can let go and it should work.

What I did was try inserting every game I had. Games have updates built into them, and if it was in the middle of an update and the power is turned off, then you need to complete that update before it will read any game discs. By inserting all your games it
you will find the one you need and the update will complete by itself and your xbox will be fixed.
