Hitachi 42 in tv approx. 5 yr old. from center to left of tv is out of focus. have tried the magic focus, does not help . there is a green image next to the original image.

I'm not really sure if this will help but try takeing off the back panel and cleaning off the projector lens. It may be throughing the magic focus off.

Convergence output ICs starting to fail and may also have a resistor or two that changed value. Would be best to hire expierienced tech as there are many necessary adjustments after changing parts.
