Mine worked fine until it hit one song and gave a "bad track" message. I can't exit or turn it off or anything. It's just sitting there burning up the battery and the screen - and it's getting hot!

My mp3 frozen on the welcome screen and restart and freeze again

First reset the Sansa e260. The way you do this is you hold down the power (menu) button for 15-25 seconds. This usually solves it.

Good Luck,

Frozen up!

On the body of the player try to find a hole that says reset button. With needle push inside and restart the player. That could help.
