Question about ASUS P4V8X-MX Motherboard
What are the video cards compatible with my motherboard?
I tried to install a XFX nVidia GeForce 512MB GPU, and Windows XP said it was not on the list of approved hardware. I had big problems with booting until I replaced the GPU with a 64 MB nVidia GeForce 400 MX/MX.
P3V8X-MX is lousy

This motherboard has an 8x AGP slot. So any 8X AGP graphic cards will suit this mobo. As your local reseller for any 8x AGP based graphic cards from ATI or Nvidia.

SOURCE: Compatible video card
Hi sbagator, the Asus P4SGX-MX board can use (1.5V only), AGP4x graphics card. You can find some here at this link.
A 1.5v video card has two seperate copper connectores, not counting the tail lock. If there are three seperate copper connectors not counting the tail lock. It is not a 1.5 volt video card. So check out the picture of a card before you buy.
This next link will take you directly to Asus web site for your board. Manual, drivers ect.
Drop me a line & let me know how it goes!

This motherboard has PCI expansion slot then any PCI video card will work with this motherboard. If it had an AGP expansion slot then you may be able to install a better video card.
This motherboard has a built-in Nvidia GeForce video card which most likely out performs any PCI video card.
